A district of the southern-central Balkan Peninsula.
During the Trojan War, Schedios and Epistrophos commanded the Achaian soldiers from Phokis. Sites in Phokis contributing to the war effort included—Anemoreia, Daulis, Hyampolis, Krisa, Kyparissos, Lilaia, Panopeus, Pytho, and the vicinity of the Kephisos River.
