A city on the island of Euboia (Euboea).
During the Trojan War Elephenor commanded the long-haired Abantes from Euboia, which included Achaian (Achaean) soldiers from Kerinthos, Styra, Dion, Eretria, Karystos (Carystus), Chalkis (Chalcis), and Histiaia (Histiaea).
