An island in the southern Aigean (Aegean) Sea.

  Antiphos (Antiphus) and Pheidippos (Pheidippus) commanded the Achaian (Achaean) troops from islands in the southeastern Aigean Sea, including—Kasos, Krapathos (Crapathos), Nisyros (Nisyrus), the city of Kos (Cos), and the Kalydnai1.

1. Kalydnai (Calydnian isles)—presumed to be the islands of Leros and Kalymnos.
