During the Trojan War, Eurypylos (Eurypylus) commanded the Achaian soldiers from Ormenion (Ormenius), the spring Hypereia, Asterion (Asterium), and the crests of Titanos (Titanus).
Trojan Prince Hektor (Hector) told his wife Andromache that if the Trojans lost the war, she would be taken to Argos as a slave and forced to work at a loom or carry water from the springs of Hypereia or Messeis.
