Hyde

The region around Mount Tmolos (Tmolus).

During the Trojan War, the only Trojan ally specifically associated with Hyde was a man named Iphition. He journeyed to Troy only to be killed by Achilles.

The location of Hyde is presumed to predate the site the Lydian capital Sardis, modern Sart, Turkey.
