A city on the island of Euboia (Euboea).
During the Trojan War, Elephenor commanded the long-haired Abantes from Euboia, which included Achaian (Achaean) soldiers from Eretria, Karystos (Carystus), Kerinthos (Cerinthus), Chalkis (Chalcis), Dion, Histiaia (Histiaea), and Styra.
