Recounting his heritage, the Trojan ally Glaukos (Glaukus) said his great-great grandfather Sisyphos (Sisyphus) came from Ephyre. Also, Glaukos' grandfather Bellerophontes (Bellerophon) lived in Ephyre until he was unjustly banished to Lykia (Lycia), in southern Anatolia.
