During the Trojan War, Diomedes commanded the Achaian (Achaean) soldiers from the cities of Asine situated on a deep bay, Argos, Eiones (Eionae), Epidauros (Epidaurus), Hermione, Mases, Tiryns, Troizen (Troezen), and Aigina (Aegina).1
