Aigae

A city on the northern Peloponnesian Peninsula.

  The goddess Hera scolded Poseidon, lord of the sea, and accused him of not being sympathetic to the Danaans1 dying at Troy. She reminded him of the devotion and sacrifices he received at Aigai and Helike.
