| To say that the streets of Athens are delightful is an understatement ... you can find street musicians in any city but Athens is, without doubt, the most relaxed city in the world. I wandered the streets, sometimes lost, without ever once looking over my shoulder to see who might be behind me ... I never crossed the street to avoid some strange acting person ... night or day, Athens has the feeling of a comfortable and welcoming place. (Mid-September 2006) |
