Aia (Aea)

Aia was the original name for the land of Kolchis (Colchis).

An ancient country that bordered eastern edge of the Euxine (Black Sea) and south of the Caucasus Mountains.

Aia is best known as the land of the Golden Fleece and the realm of king Aietes (Aeetes).
