I think we’ve established the fact that I love cartoons as much as the next doffazoid but we’ve also established the fact that answers which refer to cartoons in this Quiz are ALWAYS wrong.
Planet Express is an interplanetary delivery service that sometimes actually delivers their packages ... they exist only in cartoon form and are not to be confused with REAL delivery services which sometimes delivers their packages.
The Planet Express answer came from the super hilarious cartoon Futurama ... it was never as popular as it deserved to be ... I believe the problem was that the public was not ready to accept the characters in the cartoon ... we have a cyclops pilot with no depth perception, a slovenly time traveler, a drunken robot, a one hundred and sixty year old nutty professor, a lobster doctor, a rich Chinese-Martian intern and a Jamaican accountant ... what’s not to like with a lineup like that?
Of particular interest is the guy who does several of the male voices in the cartoon ... Billy West ... he is the voice of Fry, Dr Zoidberg, Zapp Branagan, the Professor and a variety of others ... at first glance he may seem like a talented person with phenomenal voice control ... upon closer examination, you will come to the inescapable conclusion that he is, in all likelihood, a complete lunatic! He has so many split-personalities that some of his split-personalities have split-personalities! No one can have so many convincing voices without also having a split-personality to go with each one.
As I watch Futurama reruns, I secretly hope that Billy West has infected the other cast members with his glorious brain fever ... perhaps if all of them become as deranged as he obviously is and the show will come back from retirement.
