Duh ... Neptune was a Roman ... he wasn’t a Greek or even an Atlantian.
Atlantis was at the bottom of the ocean long, long before Neptune got his water-wings ... if you were unstylish enough to wear a Neptune tee shirt to the tee party in Atlantis, the Atlantians would think that you were some kind of a nut ... and not the good kind of nut either.
A Neptune tee might be fun at a pool party or maybe even a surf party but I wouldn’t push my luck if I were you ... a recent study proved beyond doubt that jelly fish are attracted to swimmers in Neptune tee shirts more than any other tee ... the scientists seem to think it has something to do with colorblindness but I personally think it’s just a mean streak ... regardless, I never wear Neptune tees ... they’re too retro for me.
