Seriously ... Herakles was the son of the king of the Immortals ... why in the world would he sail a cauldron to Erytheia?
Wait a second ... he did sail a cauldron to Erytheia ... what was I thinking?
Sorry to have been so harsh with you ... I momentarily lapsed into a bad mood and had to take it out on someone and you just happened to be handy ... sorry.
In Labor Number 10 (Taking the Cattle of Geryon) Herakles actually did take a cauldron and sail to Erytheia ... I wouldn’t say this to his face but Herakles looked pretty silly when he was sailing back to Greece with those cattle in that cauldron with him ... for everyone’s sake I hope the voyage didn’t take too long ... how would you like to be on the open sea with a few dozen seasick cows?
Good answer ... again ... sorry for the bad mood but I have been under a lot of stress lately ... my trip to Crete was canceled and I had to vacation on the Suwannee River.
